Critique on The Cycle of the Sun and the Moon

The legend The Cycle of the Sun and the Moon shows the importance of obedience. The Sun touched and burned his children, disobeying his wife's clear order. When the Moon came back from getting water from the river and found out what had happened, she and her spouse got into a fight. The Sun yelled and threw stuff at the Moon; the Moon fled the house as her husband unleashed his anger at the forest; the Sun came back to an empty house and deeply regretted yelling at his wife. The Sun then ended up chasing his fleeing wife, looking for a way to get back her affection. And that is how the cycle of the sun and the moon began. The root of all of this was, letting the love for his children overwhelm him, the Sun's lack of obedience. If he just followed his wife's orders then his childrens would not have been burned and the fight with the Moon would never have happened.

The positive point of this legend is its lesson. We must not fall into temptation and we must do what is right, even if we have to sacrifice something that is very important to us.
